The 34th committee F.O.R.T. ‘Pie Debye’

Chairman

Anne Floor den Ouden: "Being Floorzitter is a lifestyle"
In the beautiful year of 2002, a little girl was born in the capital of the Netherlands – Amsterdam. She grew up in the North, until her parents decided to move to Brabant when she was six years old. In this time, she really started to appreciate the ‘gezelligheid’ that this lovely province had to offer, and she decided to go to Eindhoven for her studies. After spending a lot of time in the F.O.R.T. in her first years and tasting some of the sweetness it had to offer, she decided that she wanted to spend even more time in this wonderful bar. Thus in her third year, the still little girl became the chairman of the 34th committee.

Treasurer

Sander van den Brink: "Beer is also an investment"
Some 20 years ago a boy was struggling to be born somewhere in the wastelands of the north in a small village called Dirkshorn. Here he lived the first 18 years of his life, however he slowly developed a yearning for something more than fields and tulips. This is when he discovered the wonderful city called Eindhoven and after seeing the F.O.R.T. he was convinced this was the place for him. When he finally went to study in Eindhoven he got to experience all the F.O.R.T. had to offer. He got his first craft beer here, and since he grew up mainly drinking Amstel this was a revolutionary experience for him. Since that day he was often to be found in the F.O.R.T. enjoying another one of their great craft beers. When he heard they were looking for a new committee he knew this was something he wanted to do, so now he will be keeping a close eye on the finances of the F.O.R.T.

Stock manager

Ulla Praisa: "Please knock before opening the kegcooler"
Born in the wonderous city of Riga, the capital of Latvia, the tiny 4 year old moved to Utrecht with her family. After growing up to be a babbling, energetic ‘stuiterbal’, she was mesmerized by the F.O.R.T. and all of it’s wonders during a walk-along day. Fully convinced that studying chemical engineering at the TU/e was the best option, the 18 year old moved to the exotic Eindhoven. Never having had a craft beer, the fresh-faced kiddo made her way into the F.O.R.T. during her first Thursday drink. Well let’s say, things were never the same! After 2 years of being an active member of Japie, she knew it was time to take on her biggest challenge yet: becoming the stock manager of the greatest committee of Japie. Not long after making this decision, the beautiful 34th committee F.O.R.T. ‘Pie Debye’ was born and well let’s just say life only got better from that moment on.

Coordinator of Activities

Mathijs Pinxt: "Cleaning is all in the hips"
Some time ago in a beautiful village in Elsloo, Limburg a little boy was born on a beautiful Sunday. After finishing primary school and high school back in ‘het zonnige zuiden’ it was time to move to a different part of the country, to Eindhoven to study Chemical Engineering. Here he soon came to know the F.O.R.T. and all the wonders it has to offer. In the F.O.R.T. he discovered the taste of craft beer and set out to try as many different ones as he could. To achieve this mission he made sure to visit the F.O.R.T. as often as possible. But to get the opportunity to get to spend even more time in the F.O.R.T. he knew just what to do. And after 2 years he could take on the new mission to organize some great activities for all Japie member as Coordinator of Activities in the 34th committee F.O.R.T. ‘Pie Debye’.
